This site collects very little, and this page says exactly what. The processors named below are the ones actually configured for this site; nothing is listed that is not in use.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is Terrane, San Francisco, California. Questions about this policy go to hello@terrane.example.
This policy covers the public website only. The handling of data inside the product, including workloads you deploy and the requests they serve, is described in the terms of service and the security overview.
What is collected
Browsing the site requires no account and sends us nothing beyond what your browser sends to any web server. Personal data enters the picture in three places, and only when you choose to use them.
- Contact form. Your name, email address and the message you write. They are used to answer you and for nothing else. The form opens your own email application; the message travels from your mail provider to ours and never passes through this site.
- Newsletter. Not offered on this site at the moment.
- Analytics. None. This site runs no analytics.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, time, user agent) for security and capacity purposes, under its own retention policy.
Who processes it
We use a small number of providers to run the parts of the site that need a server. Each receives only the data needed for its task.
- Contact messages: no third party. Messages are sent by your own email application.
- Newsletter addresses: not applicable, no newsletter is offered.
- Analytics: not applicable, no analytics tool is loaded.
- Hosting and delivery: [hosting provider].
Where a provider is established outside your jurisdiction, transfers rely on the safeguards in that provider's data processing terms, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long it is kept
- Contact messages are kept for the time needed to answer and follow up, then deleted, and at most [12 months] after the last exchange.
- Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or until the list is closed.
- Analytics data is aggregate and is retained by the tool for its default period, not applicable here.
- Server logs follow the hosting provider's retention, typically a few weeks.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies by default and stores nothing on your device except one preference: if a consent bar is shown, your answer to it is remembered in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again.
No analytics tool is loaded on this site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@terrane.example; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This page is updated when the site's tools change. The date at the top of the page is the date of the last change. Material changes to what is collected will be announced on the site before they take effect.
